Dec 17 through 21

Sorry no pics.  Last night i was procrastinating so I cleaned out 2 drawers.  I ditched some old notepads and an accounting ledger type thing.  Where that came from i have no idea.  I mean, excel has been around for a LONG time, right?

I also ditched dome pens and stuff.  I count it as 4 days worth.

Oh, I also played the game of use all the wrapping paper up.  Years ago i hit the clearance racks and got a ton of shit.  I am STILL using it up!  I also had all those lights from a while back in that clearance run.  Now i am streamlining and not holding on to scraps of paper and boxes and bags and all that shit.

Dec 5 through 16- road trip abandoning

ROAD TRIP!!!!!  ATL to Portland in 5.5 days

 So I drove across the country at probably the WORST time ever.  Cleon and Dion, 2 Giant winter storms, roared across the country right in front of us.  Well we made it!  I planned ahead and brough a bunch of stuff i was putting in the goodwill pile.  So as we went along i threw away underwear and socks.  I also left a lot of gems in Olivia's care. 
The list, as best as i can compile:  4 pairs underwear, 2 pairs socks, 1 lady gaga shirt, 1 catlanta sweatshirt, one hat, 1 pair of dog pajamas, 1 bra. 

 Look at these sexy pajamas!  It was very hard to get rid of them, but as i am downsizing my clothing collection, those were in the worst shape.  I still have owls and sock monkeys!  And some random others that arent very cool.  Baby steps.  Maybe after winter i will ditch all but 2.

 Oh catlanta...this sweatshirt was AWESOME.  That is, until i washed it.  Then it was crap. 

Dec 4 Day of the dead sweater

Oh this one hurts.  This thing has never really fit but it was an AWESOME score.  I got it at loehmans and loved it so much.  I wore it about 12 times ever and for about 4 years it has sat neglected.  I am letting it go and someone else will love it hard.

Nov 27-Dec 3 shirts shirts shirts

 Ah, the prison rodeo.  Everyone in the world needs to go to Angola , LA.  They also have crafts made by real prisoners!  http://www.angolarodeo.com/ check it out!  Sadly this shirt is too small.  I think it would be a gem to the next person.  I also got rid of this whole stack of shirts.  I have my fox shirt and a poultry world shirt.  a beer shirt and a business casual shirt.  It hurts, but i cant save all my shirts forever 9unlike my husband who wont let me get rid of shirts that are shredded and falling apart EVERYWHERE).

Nov 15-26- shirts and books

 Man, i hate getting rid of this, but it just doesn't fit anymore.  Carrie gave it to me long ago when our friendship love affair was blossoming.  She also gave me a Mr. T trash can that RULES!

 So my dad is a big JA Jance fan.  When i was in Costa Rica i ran out of books and i read one of his.  not too bad.  I went ahead and finished up the JP Beaumont series.  He's like a gruff grumbly detective and he solves crimes.  He once was married to a crazy woman that left him a ton of money. There, now you dont need to read them.I put these in a tiny library.

The shirt below, well, it was an XL and i did my best to make it smaller but really it sucks because there are a lot of knots and alterations.  Its also hard to see the imagery and i like contrasty graffic shirts, so most likely i wont wear this again.

Nov 13-14

 So i dont drink coffee and we already have our token 3 coffee cups.  I went ahead and let go of this mug that has a chalk board side on it.  Helen drew a penis on it.  I left that for the thrift store people.  I like to think everyone thinks that sort of thing is funny. as the bottom are some weird goth curtains that someone made me take with me even though i was against it.

Nov 7-12 more clothes

 I love these jeans but the button is missing and well, it's time to let go.  They USED to be my dress jeans!  Below is a bad dye job.  I tried to dye the tank but the dye likes silks and not cottons!  EGADS!  The hat in the pic is my stupid play hat from wedding weekend.  I pranced around like an idiot in that thing.

 This top short was a fave but alas i have gained weight and its been years since i got to wear it.  Its time to pass it to someone who can love it.  Below is a dress that has permanent stink pits.  STINK PITS!  I bought it at the consignment store and it is totally cute but as you wear it the pits heat up and WHEW!!!!!!!

Nov 6-11 lights and shirts

 WOO Christmas!!!!!!  So, i found a lot of lights in the attic and well, they aren't doing anyone any good there.  so i let them go.  I also have 4 tank tops and shirts for the pile of goodwill stuff.  I am still trying to get caught up.  Forgive me for the delay but i just drove to portland this week and didn;t have a computer with me.  lots of possessions were discarded on the way so those photos will follow.

Nov 4 and 5- pot lid and a bag

 I went to the ICE pop-up shop recently.  The first 100 or so always get a free tote bag.  Well, I regifted mine to olivia with a fancy cat calendar.  She doesn't need any extra stuff since she is moving across the country tomorrow.  Literally tomorrow. 

also, Scott cooked a lovely meal.  I thought i smelled burning but i dismissed it as car exhaust since i was sitting near a window and the neighbors were running their car.  Well, actually the kitchen was full of smoke because a pot lid was left on a burner.  Sigh...living with boys is tough.

Nov 1-3 fence and shoes, a bag

So, no pics, sorry.  Sarah had her deck collapse and firefighters had to rip the fence down to save her.  I feel like they could have used the gate, but maybe not.  anyway, i brought a chunk of fencing to her to help patch the hole.  Little did i know, there isn't another entrance so they wont use it anyway.

also, i have been driving around with shoes in my car for like 2 months.  miyagi....need i say more.  Anyway, i realized i will probably never actually get them repaired so i threw them out.

Lastly, this polka dot bag bit the dust.  i liked it a lot but the zipper broke.  i have too many bags to even worry about one zipper. Too many bags.

Through oct 31, buttons, masks and wigs!

 Hillery got my the buttons and masks.  i brought the masks to the ICE event because they had a photo booth there.  The props were super sad, like the photo booth just quit trying altogether.  Then, the wig is from when libertine closed.  I got it for Sarah in like august!  EGADS!  so i am trying to buckle down, get all my stuff posted and then get caught up in time for the new year.  i have a plan for next year.

Bachelorette souvenier, a shirt and some old makeups. Though oct 28

 This is the penis straw from my bachlorette night.  Its the only concession i gave to that crap.  We went to comedy and mexican and well, the black penis straw was hilarious.  But i am a married woman now, it it has no place in my home.  hahah

 God i loved this shirt.  I can;t even talk about it anymore except to say my belly is fat.

This is some makeup crap i ejected from the house.  The yellow nail polish makes me look jaundiced.  The lipstick is GROSS and gritty.  GRITTY!  The cleanser is like 12 years old.  And the hair product is mostly alcohol which seems like a bad idea.

Though Oct 19- shorts baskets and boxes

 So i went through some winter stuff recently.  I hated to get rid of a few items but i did it anyway.  The red and white stripes hurts peoples eyes but it is too short really to wear it without a tank under it.  i am a giant.  Below is a basket.  a straw basket.  It was filled with crap.  Not it just has a few pieces of crap and the thrift store can have them.  I also got rid of a cute-ish jewelry box.  The intention was to spray paint it and make it more fun but eh...i never got to it. 

 I have been trying to catch up and I do have a lot of pics of the other items in my thrift pile.  I am taking it all there in about 5 minutes too!  Sorry if i end up double posting anything.  I dont mean to.

Through October 12- butter, lemons, scrubbies and shoes

 A butter dish.  Olivia was going to visit her boyfriend and his roommate always left butter out on the counter.  Soft butter RULES!  Here in Georgia it is not as acceptable at up in Portland OR.  I think the heat rots the butter if the roaches dont get it first.

 Lemons.  Scott brought about 30 lemons home.  He found them in the woods.  so when life gives you lemons...Anyway, i made exactly one glass of super seedy lemonade.  Be GONE lemons!  Be GONE!

 Shhhh, Scott doesnt know i chucked these.  They were rotted, had spiders in them, and holes in the toes.  He probably doesnt even remember they existed.

GROSS!  This was behind the shelf in the kitchen.  GROSS!

Through October 6- lights, fencing, puzzles!

So I gave my boss 2 sets of lights to use for his Halloween party.  Guess what?  He doesn't want to give them back!  That's 2 items unintentially gotten rid of!  And no, I am not upset.  i told him from the bginning that he could keep them if he loved them.

Next, my friend Sarah's deck collapsed and she was crushed by a giant boulder.  no, i'm not getting rid of friends...I DID however get rid of a vase and a chunk of fencing.  Two more!  See, the paramedics had to knock the fence down to get her saved so luckily i had some roll fencing to bring over!  PS- no broken bones, lots of bruises.

Oooh, what a lovely puzzle you say!  Well, if you rent the cabin in Ellijay that i left it at, then you can take it home.  It was missing 3 pieces.  We spent all night getting it together. 

I also threw out 3 cans of grody paint that was outside of the tiny house. 

Through october 2- socks and fuzzy fur.

 See this?  i cleaned Bobo's room.  For those of you that actually read this but don't know Bobo, he is our adult man-child.  He lives upstairs and is a slob from time to time.  He makes his bed but there is trash and socks and crap all over the floor.  All of these socks were under the bed.  So I used them to clean. He doesn't and won;t miss them.  I also had this random piece of fuzzy fabric.  I went with the "i can replace it for 10 bucks or less" rule and threw it away.

Throught Sept 27th- crepe paper streamers and a stocking

 So i had all this crepe paper.  I was going to make flowers but they looked like shit so i abandoned that idea.  I did however have it on hand for my boss's 60th birthday.  I think it looks classy.

 Also, i feel bad about this one but we dont decorate for Christmas so i gave this to a friend who is into owls.  My friend Sarah made it and it was rad but I had to let it go.

Through the 25th: cookie tins, housewares, a blankie and an AWESOME tank top

 I never make cookies.  And if I do it is more of a plate portion than a tin.  These have been collecting dust and spiders for too long!  I put them in the recycle bin because i just needed them gone.  George just got a new roommate and so he needed some housewares.  I hope none of this was important but I gave it all to him anyway.  2 corningwares, a pot and a glass dish. 

 This furry blanket is stinky.  forever stinky.  (not the dogs, the blanket UNDER the dogs)It has seen better days so i gave it to the dogs.  They seem to enjoy it for now but soon it will be totally trashed.  I loved it so.  And then there is the tank top.  i have help on to it for YEARS but now it is time to let go.  I gave it to Jen who is friends with the lady who used to own cookie puss.  Jen also likes KISS.  So she can wear it or sew it to a bag or something.

Through Spet 19: peppers gourds and plastic party cups!

 These were 12 of the hottest peppers in the world.  THE WORLD.  Ghost peppers, 7 pot peppers, scorpion peppers....Scott was too afraid to use them.  honestly, so was I.  Eventually they went bad because we didn't dry them properly.  Below is a bucket of gourds.  One year i planted some birdhouse gourd seeds and i got all of these!  I gave them to Mr. Ice for the kids she teaches about gardening.

 Oh, look.  I have thrown this away about 4 times.  I keeps coming back.  not this time though!
