Hmmmm, dated. thrift store. also, these chargers dont fit a current phone in our house.

Feb 19 a broken phone!

This phone has a broken screen. Had I mean. It has gone to its grave. But yes, Scott tried to hold on to it. Why have we saved a seriously broken phone? i don;t know.

Scott said "You should keep those, they are memories!" I pointed out that theses particular memories have been in the basement for 10+ years and I think they would be better memories if I set them free.

The other day I was talking to my mom on the phone. She said "I went to some estate sales and got some great stuff for you to sell on ebay!" Part of me died but part was very excited. Mom is an excellent yard saler and is sure to get some good deals. But i dont want more stuff in my house! Eh, I will accept it and make it leave via the internets.

I KNOW I had 2 stupid little trinkets i threw in the goodwill box and i also KNOW i took a picture but for whatever reason the pics are not on my camera and it isn't worthy of revisiting "the box". Just know they are gone.

Edit-AHA! here are the items. its like a teeny stained glass thing and a crappy little heart.

Feb 14 magazines!

It is already getting harder to find things I can readily free myself of. So, I will throw Scott's stuff away! These are magazines from 2008. They are hidden in the recycle bin. If you tell him I will put all this crap on your doorstep.

Feb 12 a bunch of empty CD cases

None of these are mine. They might be Scott's but there are no CD's. so in the trash they go!

So one day Scott noticed the 2 bar stools by the curb and said "where did those come from?" and I said "They were on the back porch under the smoker you never attached to the grill." his reply "oh".

FEB 10 box of computer crap

This box has been sitting exactly like this for about 6 months. As I carried it to the trash i thought, "I bet i could make something cool with the keyboard keys" but I quickly shook it off, dropped the box at the curb and jumped in my car to go to work. I know, i should have brought it to electronics recycling day, but that is why it has sat in the basement collecting spiders for 6 months. BE GONE!

Feb 9 pyrex dish

I walked 1.25 miles to a friend's house and gave her a casserole dish. She was complaining hers were all too big. The poster behind it is awesome and lives in my kitchen. you can;t have it.

This windchime came from Malacca Malaysia. It looks like hell. It was pretty once upon a time. But now...OUT THE DOOR!

Feb 5 ish. This is a beauty. I made it in college. It weighs about 5 pounds. Goodwill may appreciate it but I doubt it.

Throwing it away

So I was complaining to my friend about all the crap I have and how hard it is to let go of it. She said to get rid of one item a day. She read an article that proposed this idea. It can be anything each day, it just has to be at least one item. I'll try to keep up with this and take photos of the items. sometimes I may condense them and do a weekly photo or sometimes I might just list the item. Whatever. I just need to get rid of it.

We don;t have a vacuum that needs bags. This started it all.
