39-41 crafty stuffs

This modge podge is all dried up.  Boo, right?  I almost had a glue/adhesive emergency during the ice storm. I decided to make valentines during my 2 days of sloth and well, i almost had to walk to the store for glue.
Below is a little pin from Melissa's bachelorette.  no fancy wedding trinkets, just a classic little token to make us all a little matchy.  It was cute but realistically i will never use it again.
I also tossed 3 cans of spray paint that dont work anymore.  This brings my spray paint amounts to about 30 cans.  I'll get to work on that.

35-38 Books bras and hats

This is a cute white polar fleece hat from grandma.  She does not know that polar fleece is not allowed.  I ruin it, and if I don't it is hot and sweaty and icky.  If that isn't the case, the fabric acts like a magnet for dog fur.  Seriously gross.  Thrift store baby!
This bra has been with me FOREVER.  I finally let it go even though it is my last pink bra.  Its gross.  the elastic is destroyed.  I will make do with my brightly colored bras or wear black under my light colors  like a trashy foreign girl.  Lastly, below are 2 books that are a touch too dudely.  Dad gave me a big stack of books and I am trying to dig through them.  I actually like the Jack Reacher ones but less of the spies.  Plus i still have about 62 to go.

32-33-34 all things from the porches

Oh baby duckling.  What can I say?  Nothing really.  This baby duckling was an ebay venture into taxidermy collecting.  My house is too dusty for feather furry friends and this guy ended up on the porch amid the skulls and death I have as decor.  Well, Miyagi the dog LOVES taxidermy.  He slobbered and sucked on it and broke the little beak off.  I went ahead and buried him.  Not the dog, the duckling.  Oh, and not really.  I just threw him away.
These wind chimes were dumb.  Lame and virtually silent.  When i get windchimes i want the spooky death call of nightmares, not a gentle tinkle.  Also, this spider was cool once upon a time but now he's just clutter.  He went to the thrift store.

Everything that remains

http://www.amazon.com/Everything-That-Remains-Memoir-Minimalists/dp/1938793188

Ooh, i totally want to look at this book!  Not that i am planning on being a minimalist.  But I am thinning the piles and attempting to be less of a consumer.

28-29-30-31 basement crap

Gross!  Spiders!  This pile of rags was leftover from when i was fixing all the feral cats in the neighborhood.  I got about 12 done!  The last one was a disaster and ended up f*&^ing up my hand for a while with a cat bite.  I used these sheet remnants in and on the cages.  If you kept the cage fully covered they didn't bash their faces on the sides of the cage.  Below you see some trash from the back porch.  I mister, a couple of scaly gross candles...just clutter really.
Oh and yesterday i threw out a PILE of plastic bags i had hoarded for craft reasons.  It was a whole drawer of clear bags.  They dont photo well.

24-25-26-27 Pantry work

Wow, we have a lot of crap in the pantry.  Luckily we have had 2 snow events so we did manage to thin the piles a little bit.  On another adventurous day i decided to start work on the "eat all the food" game.  We got a new fridge so that was pretty tidy.  But the pantry....well, this soup was in there for about a year.  It was an impulse buy.  Trader Joes does that to me a lot.  I usually end up hating most of the crap i get there.  I think it is overpriced over packaged stuff.  This soup is a perfect example:  disGUSting.  I mean seriously.  I wanted it to taste like Figo's soup but instead it was sickeningly sweet.  I tried adding salt.  Then pepper.  Eventually i just threw it away because i would puke if I ate any more.  We also had a full drawer of sauce packets.  SO.MANY.  I threw almost all of them out.  Part of me wanted to squeeze all the ketchups into the ketchup bottle but i resisted.  Yes, i have a problem.
And oh look, sterno.  WTF?  We NEVER need sterno.  Ever.  I counted them as 2 just for charity.
