April 6-7- tennis rackets and a funky clock

I usually try to pair the items better.  Anyway, I got this clock on fab.com a while back.  I thought it would be rad but it was actually small and kind of crappy.  I think it's okay, but not for me.
The tennis rackets were in the basement.  I dont play tennis and probably wont any time soon.  So, i asked my old roommate Kevin if he wanted them (because they were probably his in the first place) and they will go live with him.

April 3-5 Living room cabinet junk

I think this is the bag part t a hamper.  I think it moved in with Scott.  I filled it with the goodwill clothes and took it away with the weird quilted satin table cloth and the ugly curtain shears.  These were definitely from Scott's old house on Boulevard and they were just taking up space.  Plus they were ugly.

March 31-April 2

I wish I had some awesome April Fools Day story about giving all of my items to someone's front porch but that would be mean.  Instead, here's some more crap from the house.  The top is actually a kind of cool light cover with a vintage flower screw thing.  How the screw has stayed with it is beyond me!  I gave it to the restore.
These 2 things were hanging on the back porch looking dusty and busted.  One is a coconut candle and the other is one of those tea light lanterns.  both are trash.

I don't have a picture but the new guy renting the apartment next door is a super nice guy with very little.  i gave him a recliner from the basement.  As they were carrying it out I asked them to set it down and they started to tilt it to put it on it's feet.  no, no, straight down.  Then I took my shoe off and calmly killed the 2 black widows on it!  Now you can go.  They were a little freaked out but I assured them i was watching the spiders and they were safe.

March 29-30 gifting the neighbors

This is more stuff from the basement.  I've had these wooden sawhorses for-EVER.  Just taking up space in the basement, collecting spiders and spider webs.  So in my half assed frenzy of purging I threw them out back to collect different spiders.  Finally I asked the next door neighbors if they wanted them.  I was like "you can cut wood on them or cut them up and burn them for all i care" and yep, they took them!  I passed them over the fence and they were gone.
This fan had the cord chewed years ago.  But it was a cool old vintage fan that worked before it was chewed.  What to do?  I gave it to the neighbors on the other side.  He's mechanically inclided and would probably do something with it and fix it.  Maybe.

March 27-28

Every single pair of Scott's shoes look like this.  I got him 2 new pairs that he cant have until wedding week but in the meantime I will trash 2 pairs to make room for incoming newbies! Miyagi is a jerk by the way.
And this sweater was great.  perfect condition, fit well, but then it got rats on it and i washed it.  Now it will fit a 5 year old.  I almost kept it to make a felted something but I couldnt bear to have one more project waiting for me and i threw it in with the goodwill stuff.
