Hogwild on throwing stuff away!

This doesn't count because it wasn't my stuff and i stopped myself before i got carried away.  Travis used to rent The Tiny House.  That's my carriage house out back.  Saturday i opened the garage and was like "OHMYGOD DISGUSTING SPIDERS FILTH TRASH!!!!"  Its actually all of travis's semi-abandoned items.  I poked around to see what i wanted and then texted him to say all his shit is getting ruined down there.  I did help out and drag some obviously ruined crap to the trash.  some boxes, carpet samples, etc.  man are there a lot of spiders! 

July 14 through 19th- the pantry

So I have not caught any mice in my traps (yet).  And this is a picture heavy post.  I'm still battling the f-ing moths so i cleaned out the pantry.  Who knew so much crap could hide in there?  It isn;t that big but I got a whole garbage bag full of stuff.  I emptied dry goods into tupperware containers and then found a lot of areas with high moth concentrations:  graham crackers, saltines, oatmeals, etc.  All of those were trashed immediately by running throught the house and chucking them out the front door for a later cleanup.  Hey, I had to maximize my moth evictions so sometimes you have to run.

 Solo cups.  Never in this house have i seen these.  They are grimy and have moths in them.  gross.

 2 potato mashers.  Why were these in my pantry?  I have another one in the utensil drawer.  so many potatoes to mash. My coworker Ryan, the hoarder, gasped when i aid they were trashed so i pulled them out and put them in the box of broken metal crap for the dude who makes art with broken metal crap.

 Straws?  Why are these here?  These also have 10 years of grime on them because they got shoved behind the baking drawer.  Trash.  (Sorry Ryan)

 These are just old.  I can tell because i can read chinese and the package says "these are really old".

 Cookie cutters.  These went into the box of metal crap for the dude who makes metal art out of crap.  maybe one day i will say "wow, I wish I could cut some cookies" but most likely i will just continue to eat the raw cookie dough.

 This frosting has somehow busted.  It is glued to the bag it was on.  You can see from the picture (maybe) that i made Eyeball cupcakes.  It was August of 2009 when my old friend James was acting like an idiot.  He was trying to impress girls by popping the lids off beers with his lighter.  He shot a lid right into his eye and even had the pattern from the edge of the beer car ON HIS EYEBALL!  Well, thats how old this blue frosting was.  Oh, please notice that the eyeball cupcakes have beer caps shoved into them.

 What does one do with this?  It expired Feb of 2008.

 Malibu.  Its like PCB over here!  It is probably from an old roommate or possibly it made the move 12 years ago.  I gave it to Carrie next door. 

What does one do with this much Karo sysrup?  Well, I throw it away.  I've never used karo sysrup that i know of and I am confident that i can buy more if the need arises.

WHEW!  This one was a doozie! 

July 11-13. oh rats! and moths? what the...

So I am going to count this for 3 days.  I am a cheater so shush up.  I got up at 5:45.  I am on vacation so I had to get up early to go to the beach.  I have no a/c so early morning driving RULES!  Anyway, that doesn't matter.  See, we have these tiny moths in the kitchen and i decided that 5:45 am was the time to research them.  The are indian blah blah moths and they came in on noodles or flour product type things.  And now we have a plague of them.  Each morning i set up the shop vac and suck them all up.  Like 4 mornings in a row.  I threw out all the open crackers and cereal and noodles and whatever...but they keep coming back.  I figure trashing all those things is worth at least a day.

Next...sigh.  So Miyagi, the dog, keeps going upstairs and causing mayhem.  I thought it was palmetto bugs with all of the rain but no...Also, at an ungodly hour this morning I went up to spy on his antics.  He was going wild running all over the craft room.  Upon further investigation I located a mouse nest.  I'm pretty sure it is mice and not rats.  I plan to kill them dead as soon as possible (make sure to read this ).  But in the meantime i cleaned up the nest and apparently got rid of a chunk of fabric scraps and a small stack of magazine clippings.  They were for some imagined art piece or something but they are gone now.  bye bye.  oh and a spool of thread that was gross and affected by nesting.

July 1 through today the 10th

 My hoarder coworker got this.  Maybe he can hold on to it and give it to his dad for Fathers Day.  Thats what I did.  Well, I gave it to my dad and 5 years later it came back!  Almost as new as the day it was bought!

 I tried to wash a bag with a cardboard bottom.  It doesnt work. This bag has been in my trunk for a year.  It had flip flops, a book and sunscreen in it.

 All of this stuff was in my car.  Corn nuts, shells, scratched CDs, a frame display thing, wood, notebooks, biofreeze, a purple wig, 72 water bottles, giant pixie sticks, puppy pee pads, trash bags, glitter bracelets, nail polish, cashews, pom pom animals.  all that went in the trash.  I did hold on to the uumbrella, the golf club, a sweater, and a small bag of potential needs like a leash, a towel, some cord and a collar and some dog food.

Wow, 10 days worth?  Yeah, totally.  I have cleaned out my car.  It was full of wood, hula hoops, books, clothes, CD's change, work out gear, and a lot more! Look at it now!

June 27 to the end of the month

 The wind broke a tiny pot.  It needed to go anyway. 

 I gave a TON of bags to my friend for her kitty litter box cleaning.

 This is a bone stimulator.  It has been in the basement forever.  Well, since Scott broke his leg.  I may have already mentioned it but its been in the trunk trying to go live somewhere for a while.

 2 beads.  Really?  what a waste of space.

2 owl plates.  Clearly i have too many tiny plates.

So you may think its cheating to list the broken item or to relist the bone stimulator but I redeem myself by listing 2 beads, a vial for them and 2 plates.  Boom!  Still an item a day!
