Through the 25th: cookie tins, housewares, a blankie and an AWESOME tank top

 I never make cookies.  And if I do it is more of a plate portion than a tin.  These have been collecting dust and spiders for too long!  I put them in the recycle bin because i just needed them gone.  George just got a new roommate and so he needed some housewares.  I hope none of this was important but I gave it all to him anyway.  2 corningwares, a pot and a glass dish. 

 This furry blanket is stinky.  forever stinky.  (not the dogs, the blanket UNDER the dogs)It has seen better days so i gave it to the dogs.  They seem to enjoy it for now but soon it will be totally trashed.  I loved it so.  And then there is the tank top.  i have help on to it for YEARS but now it is time to let go.  I gave it to Jen who is friends with the lady who used to own cookie puss.  Jen also likes KISS.  So she can wear it or sew it to a bag or something.

Through Spet 19: peppers gourds and plastic party cups!

 These were 12 of the hottest peppers in the world.  THE WORLD.  Ghost peppers, 7 pot peppers, scorpion peppers....Scott was too afraid to use them.  honestly, so was I.  Eventually they went bad because we didn't dry them properly.  Below is a bucket of gourds.  One year i planted some birdhouse gourd seeds and i got all of these!  I gave them to Mr. Ice for the kids she teaches about gardening.

 Oh, look.  I have thrown this away about 4 times.  I keeps coming back.  not this time though!

Through Sept 16

 Well, yesterday my eyebrow was wonky and i sure could have used one of those eyebrow brushes that i carelessly discarded!  Anyway, i had this emergency rain poncho in my car for the past... oh, 17 years.  And i also tossed out the wedding folder from wedding planning.  It was full of way snotty super expensive wedding ideas.

 Oh look, a tiny Asian dress for your wine bottle!  And then in the attic i found 7 boxes of Christmas decorations i will never ever use.  I am donating them to the East Atlanta Santa i think.

A plethora of items! this catches me up to around Sept 8

Well, this post will bring me to around Sept 8.  First let me say I dropped my lunch walking out the door this morning and shattered a plate.  One less plate to worry about!  I also broke the taco shells but I will eat them anyway.  So I made the blanket in the first picture.  It was my beloved reeses peanut butter cups sleeping bag.  I would sew patches to cover tears and over time it became a quilt with a zipper inside.  It smelled like dog and was falling apart so i had to let it go.  I gave it to the dogs for a while so then it really smelled bad.  I was sad to see it go.

 Um, somehow i got a 2 pack of eyebrow combs.  This is a silly item and really I dont think i have every combed my eyebrows.  Maybe if it was the 80's but they kind of stay tidy on their own. 

 A shirt, a headband, a red box and some blue fabric.  The box is a leftover from some gift or something and i dont need it.  the other stuff is just crap i wont use.

 

 THIS LIPSTICK IS DISGUSTING!  lipgloss, sorry.  It is supposed to taste like cake and it is nasty.

PVC and basement findings

This should catch me up to September 1 or so. I know a person with horses and she's going to build some obstacles for the horseys.  So she asked if anyone had some pvc.  YES!  Yes, I do.  Its cheap enough that if i ever need it i can go buy more and really its been sitting in the corner of the basement since the shit explosion of 2007 or somewhere around then.  See, one day the washing machine backed up into the sink.  so Brian Greyshurt and i decided to snake it.  Brian did plumbing once upon a time so it seemed reasonable.  we rented the big mega-snake at home depot.  Then we set to work.  Well, the snake worked.  But it also sent vibrations down the line that caused the old cast iron pipes to shatter.  We spent the day replumbing the outtake plumbing in the basement.  In the end it was only 150 bucks though!

 Ew, i found these on the work table back in the corner.  They are super rusty and i would never use these on anything.  I can just spend 6 bucks and buy a fresh can. I am a high roller like that.

This will bring me to aroudn august 28

 Well, this weekend I cleaned upstairs hardcore.  HARDCORE.  I moved furniture and got cobwebs and washed curtains...the works!  I also cleaned Bobo's room.  He's out adult child that lives upstairs.  long story.  Anyway, i made half of a trashcan in waste.  Empty envelopes, old bills, shoeboxes, etc.  I also threw away about 12 socks that i dusted and cleaned with.  They weren't mine so really, who cares!  Right?

Below are some items from a little while back.  a computer i never ever used.  I think it was Travis's and he's been gone for like 3 years.  2 years?  whatever...its old.  To the curb it went! 

 I also remember chunking this cord the same day.  sure a skilled person can fix it and splice and stuff but in my mine that equals fire or electrocution, or BOTH!  So it went to the same heaven as all the other trash.

  Oh, look, i also found a lighter that doesn't work.

So i feel good about playing catch up.  I have mostly organized the photo catastrophe and at least pulled out this crap that doesn't matter in the long run.  I probably don't have a full month of crap to post but at least i am still on track!

sigh....disaster strikes.

Forgive me for the delay.  I have been throwing stuff away, but maybe not as regular as i should.  My photos all got deleted on my computer.  Then when the IT guy put them back, he put back EVERY photo i have ever taken.  This has been a big task to cleanup as i sort, organize and then move to the external hard drive.
I did get rid of an armload of scrap wood and some gutter pieces this past week though.  More coming soon!

 And what is THIS doing in the paint supply bin?  Also, i have never seen it before in my life.

I think this would bring me closer to August 20-21.  I will try to speed post in the next week to get caught up.  Next year i am going to just number the items.
